Pennsylvania, Beaver Falls, 1929 T2, $10, First NB at. A very rare example of a number 1 issued by a 14,000+ chartered bank. All 14,000+ charted banks only issued Type Two notes, thus this is the only serial number 1 issued for the $10 denomination. Chartered in April of 1934, to take over the business of the First National Bank of Beaver Falls which went into liquidation in May of 1934. Total amount issued from this bank was $116,850 with only $84,400 outstanding about a year later. Kelly shows 9 notes reported. Choice Very Fine. Estimated Value $750 - 1,000
